Choices

Which Path Will You Take?

As much as it is scary being so small in this huge, complicated world, it is also exciting. I know that every day, I have a choice to be exactly who I want to be and so can you. I mean how much better can that be? You get to write your own story. You can decide who you are and what you will be; you can also decide who the “characters” are with whom you interact and what significance they will play in your life. The most important thing to realize is that you control the outcome of the story by the conscious or unconscious choices you make…so choose wisely.

Now you are probably asking yourself how you would go about this. First, think about the following things every time there are decisions to be made:

1. Choose to be aware of what’s going on around you and ask lots of questions, that’s how you will learn.

2. Choose balance and don’t think you have to do it all. The easiest way to accomplish this is to prioritize.

3. Choose not to take “No” for an answer; see if there is another solution or someone else you can talk to who will get you the answer you need.

4. Explore what life has to offer, choose not to settle.

5. Choose to be open-minded. You will be surprised what you will learn.

6. Choose to “think outside the box” and create your own reality.

7. Choose not to follow the crowd and conform to what “they” think you should be doing. You decide how your story will be written.

8. Choose to be yourself, believe in yourself and follow your dreams.

Know that you have a beautiful purpose in your life, and go for it!

“This is your moment of choice.”

Do you still believe in a positive future?

Do you still believe in love and in the value of helping others?

Do you let misery and despair overwhelm you, or do you look for ways you can heal the problem and make the world a better place?

Do you believe that if you treat everyone with love, forgiveness and acceptance—while still maintaining responsible boundaries—and not allowing yourself to be manipulated—then these global and personal wounds will eventually heal?

Do you feel that if you have love in your heart, then love will appear in your life?

Are your strong enough to forgive and to forget—truly release the pain inside—and know in your core that life is wonderful, you are worthy and you don’t need to be angry, sad or depressed when crisis strikes or when others disrespect you?

Let’s say that love and forgiveness would be your first choice in how you respond to life’s ups and downs. In the spiritual literature…{this} would be called

“the positive path” or “the service-to-others path.” On this path, we learn how to generate love from within ourselves, by our attitude, and this process has a healing, renewing, and revitalizing effect on all aspects of our lives”

David Wilcock “The Syncronicity Key”

The Road Not Taken

BY ROBERT FROST

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
